At SENDsible, we believe that every child deserves the right support, at the right time, to reach their full potential.

We know that navigating the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) system can feel overwhelming. Whether you're seeking support in school, applying for an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), preparing for an annual review, or challenging a decision, understanding what to do next isn't always straightforward.

That's where SENDsible can help.

Our aim is simple: to help parents and carers understand their rights, navigate complex processes with confidence, and secure the support their child needs.

About SENDsible

Supporting families through their SEND journey

Meet Joe

Head of SENDsible

Hi, I'm Joe.

I have over 10 years' experience working within SEND services across multiple Local Authorities, supporting children, young people, families and professionals. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), SEND processes, schools and multi-agency teams, giving me a detailed understanding of how the system works in practice.

Having worked within Local Authorities, I understand both the challenges families face and the pressures experienced by professionals. This insight allows me to provide balanced, informed and effective advocacy that focuses on achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

I am passionate about inclusive education and believe every child deserves to be understood, valued and supported according to their individual strengths and needs.

Our Approach

A collaborative approach to SEND support

Advocacy is not about conflict.

At SENDsible, we believe effective advocacy is built on clarity, collaboration and persistence. We work alongside families to ensure their voice is heard and their child's needs remain at the centre of every conversation.

Having worked within Local Authority SEND services, we understand the system from both perspectives. We recognise the pressures faced by councils, schools and professionals, while also understanding the challenges and frustrations families can experience when trying to secure support for their child.

This insight allows us to take a balanced, constructive approach that focuses on solutions, positive relationships and achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Our goal is simple: to help families feel informed, empowered and supported throughout their SEND journey.
